We are only 5 minutes from Barnard castle, 15 to 20 minutes from Richmond, 20 to 25 minutes from darlington & 25 to 30 minutes from Kirkby steven.

Just an overnight stay in this little pub in the hamlet of Boldon. Sarah's welcome was warm and friendly and immediately made you feel at home. Lovely room and a friendly little bar. Had an evening meal off the varied and interesting menu and all our off piste requests were accommodated willingly. Food was great and different and all at a very reasonable price. Only criticism was that the portions were large but that seems to be the norm in our increasingly obese world
